Our speaker will be Dr. William Gutsch, whose topic will be “Inspiring Astronomy Education: Infinite Possibilities and Lessons Learned.” Dr. Gutsch will describe a broad spectrum of teaching environments from his five decades of experience, including science museums, NASA research facilities, planetariums, television studios, Hollywood sound stages, steaming jungles, polar vistas, a giant airplane hangar, and standard classrooms. Dr. Gutsch last spoke to STAR about his trip to Norway and his spectacular images of northern lights. He is an informative and entertaining speaker. Be sure not to miss his talk.
